Carlos Boozer scored 11 of his 19 points in the final five minutes to lead visiting Chicago past his former squad.
Nate Robinson had 18 points and nine assists and Luol Deng added 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Bulls ended a two-game losing skid.
Al Jefferson scored a season-high 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Utah. Paul Millsap added 21 points and Randy Foye had 14 as the Jazz dropped to 19-6 at home.
The contest was tied at 69 entering the final quarter and Utah had a four-point advantage midway through the stanza before Boozer scored Chicago’s next 11 points. The player who spent six seasons with the Jazz before leaving for Chicago as a free agent after the 2009-10 season hit the go-ahead free throw with 1:47 left and ended his hot streak by sinking two free throws with 27 seconds left to give the Bulls an 88-85 lead.
Chicago led 31-27 after the opening quarter and boosted the lead to 13 on Taj Gibson’s basket with 2:03 left in the half. The Bulls led 58-50 at the break.GAME NOTEBOOK:
