Men's College Basketball
Delaware State at Wake Forest
When: 7:00 PM ET, Friday, November 28, 2014
Where: Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Balance is critical to the success of most NCAA basketball teams - and to that end, Wake Forest is on the right track. The Demon Deacons look for another balanced effort Friday night as they host Delaware State in the fourth of a five-game homestand. Wake Forest had 11 players score five or more points in Wednesday's 83-49 drubbing of Mount St. Mary's, and should expect a similar outcome against a Hornets team coming off a 126-76 loss to Iona.

Wednesday marked the fourth time in five games that Wake Forest received at least 25 points from its bench. And the players know that kind of depth will come in handy once conference play begins. "Everybody on the team can play," guard Codi Miller-McIntyre told reporters. "That's the great thing about it - (the starters) don't have to stay in the game 30-plus minutes every night, because everybody has the ability to come in and produce."

TV: 7 p.m. ET, ESPN3

ABOUT DELAWARE STATE (2-3): The Hornets are in the midst of a grueling stretch that will see them play 10 of 11 games away from Memorial Hall - and the last two hosts have been anything but kind. Delaware State was trounced 99-71 by Arkansas, then watched Iona bury a school-record 24 3-pointers. The Hornets have been victimized by bad ball-handling, having turned the ball over 43 times in the losses to Arkansas and Iona.

ABOUT WAKE FOREST (4-2): What impressed Demon Deacons coach Danny Manning wasn't so much the balanced scoring, but rather the way his players took care of the ball. Wake Forest racked up a season-high 18 assists against Mount St. Mary's while committing a season-low nine turnovers - marking the first time all season the team had recorded a positive ratio. "That's something we've been working on, and need to continue to get better at," Manning said.

1. Delaware State F Tyshawn Bell is averaging 16 points over his last three games, knocking down 12 3-pointers in that stretch.

2. Nine Wake Forest players average double-digit minutes, with a 10th - G Miles Overton - at 9.8.

3. F Devin Thomas leads the Demon Deacons in scoring (13.7) and rebounding (10.8).
