College Football
Oklahoma at Oklahoma State
When: 8:00 PM ET, Saturday, November 28, 2015
Where: Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, Oklahoma

Bedlam gained even more weight when the College Football Playoff rankings were announced on Tuesday and Oklahoma popped up at No. 3. Oklahoma State will try to knock its bitter rivals off that lofty perch when it host the Sooners in Saturday’s regular-season finale.

The Cowboys’ own hopes for a spot in the Playoff were likely dashed last week with a 45-35 home loss to Baylor, though an impressive win over Oklahoma and some help from around the country could push them into the top four. No. 11 Oklahoma State came up with a stunning win in last season’s edition of Bedlam, when Tyreek Hill returned a punt 92 yards for the tying touchdown with 45 seconds left in regulation before a field goal in overtime won it. "The advantage of having Bedlam is that there's a lot of excitement and enthusiasm generated because of the game,” Cowboys coach Mike Gundy told reporters. “Fortunately, over the last six to eight years, there has been a lot at stake with Bedlam, even more than it's been over the last 30 or 40 years." The Sooners come in with some momentum after escaping with a 30-29 win over TCU last week to run their winning streak to six straight.

TV: 8 p.m. ET, ABC. LINE: Oklahoma -6.5.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA (10-1, 7-1 Big 12): The Sooners are averaging 51 points during their winning streak and got quarterback Baker Mayfield back at practice this week after the junior passed concussion tests. Mayfield threw for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns against TCU before leaving last week’s game and is building a convincing Heisman Trophy resume with 33 touchdown passes and five interceptions to go with six rushing scores. The transfer from Texas Tech is in his first year as a starter for Oklahoma and will be making his first Bedlam series appearance.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA STATE (10-1, 7-1): The Cowboys still have a shot at the Big 12 title with a win on Saturday and a loss by Baylor against TCU, and a New Year’s Six bowl is a distinct possibility with a win. “We'll try to stay focused on the task at hand,” Gundy told reporters. “The good news is that everyone in the state will be excited about the game this week, and I can't imagine that our players won't stay focused, prepare and play well on Saturday.” Mason Rudolph is leading an Oklahoma State offense just as potent as the Sooners and did his part with 430 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s loss.

1. Oklahoma CB Zach Sanchez is the reigning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week after notching his fifth and sixth interceptions against TCU.

2. Oklahoma State DE Emmanuel Ogbah is the NCAA active leader with 27 career sacks.

3. The Sooners have won five of their last six visits to Stillwater and hold an 84-18-7 all-time advantage in Bedlam.
